The publicly-accessible pages of this website are the pages on the Main Menu.
MOST pages under the Members Homepage section will only display for Skyline Members after they have logged in.

A Skyline member first Registers on this website, then receives the email with the Verify Code in it, then returns to this website and Logs-In to see the content for "members only".
The content for members-only contains:  ByLaws, Membership List, Discussion Forums and other items that contain personal information.
However, there are Mixed-Mode content also... such as the Classifieds -- so that your Classified Ad gets the most exposure.
 
If you are not a SDC member yet, please don't bother registering -- you won't receive an email with a Verify Code in it.
We use a current Membership Listing to determine who is/not eligible for entry onto this website.  The Membership Listing is maintained by the Vice President and access to this website is authorized by the Database Coordinator.
The website itself is designed and implemented by BarryZ of 1USA.Com Internet Services.

About the technology used on this website

This website has multiple levels of visibility & security. 
If a non-member visits a page, they see only the things intended for non-members.
If a member visits a web page, they see additional modules on the pages.
There are multiple security levels to view pages, and multiple security levels to edit pages.
For instance, there can be a section of the website that only Board Members can access.

It is possible to give someone the ability to author certain pages.  This is an open invitation to armchair authors:  If you are interested in managing your own section of the website, please send an email to BarryZ, describing
 - what you would like to do
 - how often you would keep your section current
 - if your pages should be publicly viewable or restricted to SDC Members
 
This website, designed by BarryZ at www.1usa.com, uses BackOffice functionality to build an advanced infrastructure found on few other websites.  Programming functionality is built into 'Modules' which are then placed on relevant web pages.  The underlying code is re-useable... meaning that once the code is written, it can be used on multiple pages or on multiple websites for multiple clients.

Example:  If another Corvette club likes the way this website works, they could easily convert their old website format into our 1USA website format in less than half the time. 
Test:  Tell your current webmaster that they need to replicate 100 web pages.  They will tell you that it would take weeks.  In comparison, ours would take only a day or two.
